As with most cleaning activities, I dislike dusting. Therefore, I use dusting spray to get rid of the heavy layer of dust on my furniture and to hopefully prevent dust for a bit longer.
However, dusting spray can be expensive (even after coupons), so I decided to make some of my own.
All you'll need is:
- 1 cup Water
- ¼ cup Distilled White Vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- Spray Bottle
- Microfiber Cloth
You can add about 10 drops of lemon (or other citrus) essential oil if you want for a pleasing scent. Otherwise, it smells a little bit like vinegar when you spray it (which is fine with me and how I used it).
The oil will separate from the water and vinegar, but just give it a shake before you spray your furniture.
I love how my furniture feels clean and looks shiny after using the spray without any waxy residue. Plus, it's great about getting any fingerprints off the wood also that you can't do with just a microfiber cloth.
