If you have lots of fresh apples left over the apple orchard (or even if you don't!), you'll love this Cinnamon Apple Oatmeal cookies recipe. They have a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg in them for fall as well as diced apples and oatmeal for some crunch. Delicious!
Preheat your oven to 350 and line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mat.
Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir oats into flour mixture and set aside.
Cream together butter, brown sugar and sugar. Add in the egg, apple sauce and vanilla and beat until blended.
Gradually add in the flour mixture, stirring by hand, until incorporated. Fold in the diced apples.
Spoon into 1 tablespoon balls and place on prepared sheets 2" apart.
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.

- 1 cup Flour
- 2 cups Uncooked Oats
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- ½ teaspoon Baking Soda

- 2 tablespoon softened Butter
- ½ cup Sugar
- ½ cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 3 tablespoon Applesauce
- 2 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 cup Peeled Diced Apple
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350.
