If one person is sick in our household, it's a struggle to keep the illness from sweeping through our entire family since we live together in close quarters. However, you can keep the flu, cold, and other virus germs from spreading by cleaning high touch surfaces regularly.
What Products Should I Use to Disinfect Surfaces?
You want to make sure that you clean this list of high-touch areas regularly to prevent the spread of germs. You can use an antibacterial cleaner or make up your own cleaning solution with 1/2 cup of bleach for each gallon of water.
What Should I Do with My Cleaning Cloth after Disinfecting?
After you're finished cleaning, be sure to disinfect any mops you use and don't reuse your cleaning cloths again. Be sure to throw cleaning cloths in the laundry (or throw them away if they're disposable). Don't use sponges to clean.
