Every year growing up, my sister and I would watch It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown on TV before Halloween. It was a family tradition, and it just wouldn't seem like Halloween without watching it.

Fast forward to when I had my own family, and my husband and I were so excited the first time we could show our boys the Peanuts Holiday Collection. One of my favorite memories is the huge belly laugh from my oldest the first time he watched Snoopy wrestle with the chair in A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving!  Needless to say, we're all huge Peanuts fans at our house.

To tie in with the the Peanuts Halloween special, I thought it would be fun for the kids and I to make some Peanuts Halloween treats based on the pumpkin patch in the TV show.  We had a lot of fun making them, and they were yummy to eat too.

The Peanuts Movie Pumpkin Patch Snacks

Ingredients

• Chocolate Snack Packs
• Oreo Cookies
• Pumpkin candies

Instructions

1. Separate Oreo cookies into two halves. Keep one half with the filling intact.
2. Crush the remaining Oreos using a blender or food processor to form the "dirt".
3. Add the crushed Oreos to the top of the pudding Snack Pack
4. Add candy pumpkins and Oreo with filling as the full moon.
