We love to eat s'mores during the summer! There's something about the gooey marshmallow mixed with the flavor of chocolate and graham crackers. But, it's way too hot to roast marshmallows in the summer in Texas, and we can't all have a fire pit in our backyard! So, this S'mores Popcorn recipe is a fun alternative to regular s'mores. It's made with popcorn, melted chocolate, crushed graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate candies. Yum!
Line a baking sheet with wax paper and set aside. Microwave chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, nuking it in 30-second intervals. Pour melted chocolate in the bowl of popcorn and mix until all the kernels are covered and coated.
Pour chocolate-covered popcorn evenly on a lined baking sheet.
Crush graham crackers using either a rolling pin or in a food processor. Sprinkle ¼ cup’s worth on popcorn - allow everything to set.
Cut the marshmallows into small pieces with kitchen scissors. Alternatively, you may use a cup’s worth of mini marshmallows. Serve popcorn in individual bowls, garnishing it with extra graham cracker crumbs. Top it off with marshmallows and chocolate candies.
