Since we're so busy between homework, sports, and church activities, I'll love to cook easy meals that are ready when we're ready to eat. That's why I love using my slow cooker. I can simply add food to it late morning/early afternoon, and dinner is served just when I need it.
I was looking for something that would be great to serve over the holidays, so I though it would be fun to add homemade cranberry sauce to pork chops that I've cooked all day in my slow cooker. The cranberry sauce can be made anytime. In fact, it's better to have it premade so that it has some time to thicken.
Dinner was a hit with everyone in the family...which I can't say about everything I make since some of us are pickier than others!
I went to Walmart to purchase a Smithfield All Natural Fresh Pork Chops. I like Smithfield All Natural Fresh Pork because they never add steroids, hormones, or artificial ingredients to their products. Plus, because their animals are raised in the US, they partner with and support regional farm families across the country.
