I remember my mom making me ice cream cone cupcakes for my birthday cake for one of my birthday parties when I was a kid, and they were delicious! You also can create cupcakes in an ice cream cone (and adapt them for any holiday by changing the color of the sprinkles) using this Patriotic Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes recipe. Preheat your oven according to the cake box instructions. In a large mixing bowl, prepare cake batter according to the box of cake mix. Fill each cone ¾ of the way full.
Place the cones upright in a muffin tin and bake according to the cake mix instructions.
After the cake cones have cooled, melt your chocolate in the microwave (or in a double boiler on the stove) and dip the top of each cone into the chocolate. Just before the chocolate cools, add sprinkles, and allow chocolate to finish setting.
Refrigerate for 15 minutes. Add icing to each cone, and then serve and enjoy!

- 1 box of Ice Cream Cones
- 1 box of Yellow Cake Mix (and ingredients for mix)
- White Melting Chocolate
- Patriotic Sprinkles
- White Icing
Instructions
- Preheat oven according to cake box instructions.
