Nutter Butters are so fun to use as a base to decorate cookies for a holiday!  This Nutter Butter Necktie cookies recipe is perfect as a Father's Day treat, and you can even help your kids make it as a gift for dad if you want.

They are made with Nutter Butter cookies, white chocolate, and Airheads candy.

Prepare the neckties by unwrapping the Airhead candy. Flatten the candy to an even surface if needed.

Using scissors or a knife, cut the Airhead candy. For the white collar, cut the white (mystery) Airheads in half into long strips and then into smaller rectangles to fit the width of the cookie. Cut a small triangle from the middle of each strip. To create the ties, cut a tie shape from the colored Airheads.

Line a baking sheet with waxed paper.

Melt white candy according to package directions making sure not to overheat. If the candy gets too hot, it will seize. If desired, add 1 teaspoon vegetable shortening or coconut oil to make the melted candy pourable.

Dip Nutter Butter cookies in melted candy, allowing excess to drip back into the bowl. 

Place the cookie on the waxed paper and immediately add the tie and collar. Allow to dry completely.

• White candy melts or vanilla flavored almond bark

Instructions
