It seems like most holiday food while delicious is not exactly health food. That's why I love this idea for Grinch Fruit Kabobs. They are super cute and filled with vitamins from the fruit.
The old animated How the Grinch Stole Christmas movie is one of our favorites to watch each year, although some of the newer versions are also good.
You can either pre-make the kabobs for a party platter or set out the ingredients and let a group of kids put them together for a fun activity.
Note: To keep banana slices from turning brown, place them in a bowl of lemon or lime juice (acidity) before assembling the kabobs. This will help them keep their bright color if you’re making the kabobs in advance.
To make the Grinch Fruit Kabobs, all you need to do is pierce a green grape with the lollipop stick (or whichever stick or skewer option you choose) and slide it through.
On top of the grape, layer a sliced banana – followed by a strawberry (point facing up) and top with a mini marshmallow. Follow this process until all the fruit is used, or you've made enough.

Just love these.....where do you get the sucker sticks?
Corrie C says
Thanks! You can usually find sucker sticks in the chocolates/candy making section at your local craft store (like Michaels) or sometimes in the craft section at your local super Walmart, etc.

Just made those cute Grinch Fruit Kabobs and wanted to know if they need to be refrigerated. I soaked the sliced bananas in the lemon juice
Corrie C says
It depends on how long before you plan on eating them. If it's just a few hours, they should be fine at room temperature since you soaked the bananas. If you plan on using them tomorrow, I would refrigerate them so that the other fruits stay fresh.
