In my quest for a slower and more meaningful December spent with friends and family, I plan on completing 30 Days of tasks to get ready for Christmas before Thanksgiving...and I invite you to join me.
Day 23: Assemble Christmas Cards
If you ordered custom Christmas cards back on Day 16, you may or may not have gotten them back already. If you did...great! Or you may be using a boxed card set that you already have. Today is the day to assemble your cards to get them ready for mailing.
Make sure you have everything you plan to include in your card, such as the actual card, perhaps a Family Photo, and/or Christmas Letter and set them up assembly-line style on a table. If you need to sign your cards (or write a brief message in each card), you may want to split this step into a couple of days.
Get your Christmas cards ready to mail, excluding your address labels (since we'll work on those tomorrow). How much fun will it be to have your cards ready to mail so early!
Our Holiday Cards:
This year, I ordered a Picaboo Groupon deal for my cards, so I've got the card and photo covered in one. I'm also including a Christmas letter in my card (which I normally do anyway), but I've got a lot to share about our move.
What about you? Were you able to get your Christmas cards assembled today?
