Breakfast muffins are pretty much like dessert, right? At least that's what I've always told myself when I'm indulging in a chocolate chip muffin. It's the only time that you can eat dessert for breakfast!
Well, this brownie muffin recipe is super yummy and reminiscent of dessert with the cocoa powder and melted chocolate found within. Plus, you can add chopped walnuts for a crunchy kick (and why wouldn't you?).
Brownie Muffins Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 ½ Cup all-purpose flour
- ½ Cup cocoa powder
- ¼ Cup melted chocolate
- ½ Cup melted butter
- 2 Eggs
- ¼ Cup brown sugar
- ½ Cup milk
- ½ tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, using an electric mixer combine the butter, sugar, and eggs.
- Add the remaining ingredients into the bowl and mix.
- Place muffin liners in a muffin in a muffin tray.
- Pour one scoop of batter into each.
- Bake the muffins for 25-30 minutes or until done.
- Remove from the oven, and let them cool down for 10 minutes before removing from the tray.
- Serve and enjoy.
