Do you hate to battle the crowds on Black Friday? Then why not shop online?
There are so many awesome deals to be found. You can even find most of the deals that are offered in brick and mortar stores online. For example, Walmart has many of their Black Friday deals online. Let's take a closer look at how to shop the Black Friday sales online.
Look at the Black Friday Ad Scans
Look at the sales papers of your local stores ahead of time to see which items will be available online (and what time the online sale starts). Write down each item you want to buy at which stores and what time each sale starts so you're organized when each sale starts.
Walmart, for example, will list which items are available in-store only. This will give you a better idea of whether or not you're going to need to go out on Black Friday or if you can get everything you need online.
If you're looking for larger items, such as a TV, check stores like Amazon for great deals.
Check Black Friday Sites for Sale Information
There are websites devoted to Black Friday sales. You can hit these sites and find all the information you need about online sales.
Another great tip is to sign up for the newsletters of your favorite online stores. In the weeks leading up to Black Friday, you'll get information about upcoming sales.
Pay Attention to Upcoming Deals
If you're shopping on Amazon, you'll notice that on the Deals page, items are listed along with the time that the sale will start.
On Black Friday, there are usually deals starting every 10 to 15 minutes. You want to make sure you're keeping an eye on your favorite deals and are online when the sale starts.
Check for Online Coupon Codes
In addition to great deals on individual items, many online stores have additional coupon codes to help you save even more money.
Check out my online coupon codes database to find all the current coupon codes available. You can search by store or by category.
Shop Early
Online deals go just as quickly as in-store deals. This means that you need to be online early.
As stated above, if you're shopping on Amazon, you want to make sure that you know when deals are going to start and that you're there when it starts. Deals sell out very quickly.
For hot items, you want to be prepared to purchase as soon as the sale goes live online. So, if the Walmart Black Friday sale starts at 12:01 am, you'll want to be ready right at 12:01 am and be prepared to add the item to your cart and checkout quickly.
Check Back Throughout the Day
Last, but not least, some items are restocked throughout the day or the deal rolls around again.
For example, on Walmart.com, items may sell out early in the day, but more be relisted throughout the day. Keep checking back if you missed an item.
On Amazon, you may see the same deal listed several times throughout the day.
Shopping online on Black Friday can greatly reduce the stress. However, you need to be just as early to the sales and you need to check back throughout the day for more deals.
