Did you stay on budget with your holiday spending? Or did you spend a bit more than you budgeted? According to the National Retail Foundation, shoppers planned to spend an average of $967.13 this past holiday season, which was up 3.4% from last year. That's a lot of money to fit into your November and December budget unless you've been saving for the holidays all year long!
January is a great time to cut your expenses and get your budget back on track for the year. Usually the first thing to get cut from the budget is specialty coffee from the expensive coffee shop. It's hard to justify paying $5 a day for a latte, since it adds up to over $100 a month just for weekday stops alone!
But, do you really need to cut the caffeine to cut the expenses in your budget? RaceTrac says, "no" with their "Crazy Good Coffee" deal this month at your local RaceTrac stores.

Through January 31st, you can get any size coffee from RaceTrac for only $1 each. Their "Crazy Good Coffee" bar offers up to six blends of fresh brewed coffee - Colombian, Dark Roast, Decaf, Guatemalan, Hazelnut, and Regular - all made from 100% Arabica beans. Plus, you can be your own barista by combining your favorite coffee blends with included creamers, sweeteners, and add-ins (like whipped cream) - all for only $1 each no matter the size and number of add-ins.
RaceTrac is introducing new coffee machines in its stores, with participating stores getting them this month. My beloved local RaceTrac has already set up the new machines in store. They are amazing, since you use the touchscreen to choose your flavor, size, and how full you want to cup (to allow room for add-ins). The machine grinds the beans and fresh brews an amazingly delicious fresh cup of coffee.
I love my local RaceTrac store and we have employees that we've become friends with over the years (from our many RaceTrac drink runs). I also have the RaceTrac Rewards app on my phone and I earn points when I buy gas, coffee, and other items from RaceTrac. I can use the points towards free products (like roller grill items, breakfast sandwiches, and more), and I'm currently at the level where I get a free coffee or soft drink every week from RaceTrac through the app.
What about you? Have you tried the "Crazy Good Coffee" at RaceTrac?
