You'll want to create this Mint Chocolate Chip Smoothie (otherwise known as a Shamrock Smoothie) for St. Patrick's Day. Of course, mint really is delicious any time of the year!
The smoothie is packed with healthy ingredients like bananas, vanilla almond milk, spinach, yogurt, and vanilla protein powder - perfect for a great start to your day.
Place bananas, almond milk, peppermint, spinach leaves, protein powder, ice, and yogurt into a blender. Blend until smooth, make sure to scrape the sides half way through.
Add in chocolate chips and food coloring, and blend again until mixed well. Add whipped cream and additional chocolate chips to the top of your smoothie.

Make St. Patrick's Day healthy this year with this Mint Chocolate Chip Shamrock Smoothie - made with bananas, spinach, protein powder, yogurt, and almond milk - it's perfect for the holiday or as an everyday treat!
Ingredients
- 2½ Bananas
- 1 cup of Vanilla Almond Milk
- 1 teaspoon to 1 and ½ teaspoon of Peppermint Extract (depending on how strong you like it)
- 5 Spinach Leaves
- ½ Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
- 1 cup of Ice
- ½ cup of Fat Free Yogurt
- ⅛ cup of Mini Chocolate Chips
- Whipped Cream
- Sprinkles (optional)
- 3 drops of Green Food Coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Place bananas, almond milk, peppermint, spinach leaves, protein powder, ice, and yogurt into a blender.
- Blend until smooth, make sure to scrape the sides half way through.
- Add in chocolate chips and food coloring, and blend again until mixed well.
- Add whipped cream and sprinkles to the top of your smoothie.
- Serve and enjoy
