Yesterday, Amazon announced a new Kindle Owners' Lending Library. Basically, if you are an Amazon Prime member, you can check out 1 FREE Kindle book per month with no due date. You can choose from thousands of books, including 100 current and former New York Times bestsellers.
Here's how it works:
- You must own a Kindle (it won't work on the Kindle apps). However, the price has dropped to only $79 for the cheapest Kindle Reader
- You must have an Amazon Prime membership (and be the primary member). It costs $79 per year and includes FREE 2-day Amazon shipping and unlimited streaming of over 10,000 movies as well as the Kindle Owners' Lending Library access.
- Choose from over 5,000 titles to borrow - 1 per month
If you don't have an Amazon Prime membership, don't forget, you may be able to borrow Kindle books from your local library.
