Family Dollar Halloween Shopping: Review

It’s fun to decorate for the holidays, like Halloween, or even throw a party. But, who wants to bust the budget doing it? Family Dollar has Halloween covered with Halloween costumes, candy, and home décor at discount prices.

Family Dollar sent me a sampling of several items available in the store, including a Ninja costume that my 5 year old absolutely loves (available for only $8!), a cute Scarecrow decoration (available for only $1!), a pumpkin bucket ($1), and 2 bags of candy. After receiving the items, I was really excited to check out my local Family Dollar store for their selection of items.

As I walked into the store, Family Dollar had both sides of a whole aisle full of Halloween items – from indoor/outdoor decorations, to candy, to costumes – everything you need to trick-or-treat, decorate, or throw a party.  It was hard to choose what to purchase, since there was a large selection of items.  I really wished that I hadn’t already purchased my older son his red ninja costume, since I found 2 in his size that would have been perfect (and less expensive at only $8).

Many items are on sale right now for B1G1 50% off to help you stretch your dollar.  In addition to the discount prices, Family Dollar does also accept coupons, which is great for Halloween candy.

Visit the Family Dollar site for tips on everything from scaring up a costume to throwing a Halloween bash for under $20.

Disclosure: I received some Halloween samples and a gift card from Family Dollar to facilitate my review. I did not receive any compensation to write this post. The opinions are all mine!
