We love cinnamon rolls as a treat in the morning, although they can be pretty time intensive to make. That's why I love this Crockpot Monkey Bread recipe. It's easy to put together since you use a roll of refrigerated biscuits, and you can let it cook on its own in your slow cooker!
Once you've pulled the Monkey Bread out of the crockpot, you can whip together some homemade icing and drizzle it over the Monkey Bread for a cinnamon delicious treat.
Open the can of refrigerated biscuits, and cut each biscuit into bite size pieces.
Combine the cinnamon and sugar. Coat the sides and bottom of slow cooker with some of the melted butter, and then dip each biscuit piece in the melted butter and then into the cinnamon sugar mix.
Place the cinnamon and sugar covered biscuit pieces in layers in the bottom of the Crockpot. Cook on High for 2 hours.
Allow the Monkey Bread to cool for a few minutes, then transfer them to a plate.
If you prefer, you can also drizzle the Monkey Bread with icing by whisking together powdered sugar and milk.

Ingredients
- 2 cans Refrigerated Biscuits (8 ct)
- 2 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 tablespoon Cinnamon
- ½ cup melted Butter
Icing (optional):
- 2 cup Powdered Sugar
- 2 teaspoon Milk
Instructions
- Cut each biscuit into bite size pieces.
- Combine sugar and cinnamon.
- Coat sides and bottom of slow cooker with some of the melted butter.
- Dip each biscuit piece in melted butter and then in the sugar mix.
- Place them in layers in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Cook on High for 2 hours.
- Allow them to cool for a few minutes, then transfer to plate.
- Optionally, you can drizzle with icing by whisking together powdered sugar and milk.
