Although my boys are both out of diapers, I almost wish one of them wore diapers just so I could try these out...they are so cute! So, when I was contacted by Cool Diaps to do a review and giveaway, I just couldn't pass it up...so I asked my sister (and my new nephew) to do the review for me:
Cool Diaps are well… cool! They are new disposable diapers that rival the modern designs and vibrant colors of cloth diaper covers. They come in three cool designs- zebra print (my favorite!), peace signs, and happy faces. Most mothers wouldn’t mind looking at these diapers for the years to come and some children might actually be excited to put them on too!
The diaper itself has a soft outside and is very thin. At first I thought how much can this thin diaper hold, but its absorbency is quite good due to the extra absorbency panel that runs the length of the diaper inside. The diaper has plenty of extra material around the Velcro tabs to stretch and attach for most sized children.
The diapers I reviewed were size medium that states they will fit babies from 8-19 lbs. However my son is an 11 lb 1-month old, and the diaper was too big (although the results may be atypical...since he is only a month old). Go with the smallest size to accommodate your child to ensure a snug fit.
As my sister stated, the diapers are not only fun looking, but they also have features that are important in a diaper (like the ability to contain what they're supposed to contain) such as:
- Strong Velcro tabs
- Double Leg Cuff Leak Protection
- "Blue chip" absorbency located in the center of the diaper
