Ever since I discovered foaming hand soap from Bath & Body Works, I've been in love. However, what I'm not in love with is the price of the soaps. Even buying multiple bottles at a time when they are on sale with a coupon, they are still quite expensive.
However, did you know that you can cut the cost of foaming hand soap to pennies on the dollar by making your own and stretching out the hand soap you have?
DIY Foaming Hand Soap
Materials
- Foaming Hand Soap Container (I just reused a Bath & Body Works one, but I also have a Pampered Chef container)
- Clear hand soap (not the creamy kind)
Instructions
- Take the clear hand soap and add about an inch to your foaming hand soap container (On the Bath & Body Works container that works out to about midway up the “a” in “Bath”).
- Slowly add warm water to the top of the container and put the lid on. You don't want to add the water too quickly or it will foam up.
- Gently turn the foaming soap container upside down and right side up several times to mix the soap and water. You don't want to shake the container or it will bubble over.
