If you need a cake stand, but don't want to spend a lot of money buying one, you'll love this DIY Cake Stand. It's easy and inexpensive to make, and the hollow portion of the vase is perfect for adapting it to the various seasons and events.
All you need is E6000 craft adhesive, a small round pizza pan, and a wide mouth vase (clear is best). Check out your local dollar store for the pan and vase.
You just need to glue around the bottom of the vase and add your pizza pan face down on top of the glue. Be sure it's centered, since you only have a few seconds to reposition before the glue takes hold. And then add something heavy on the top and leave overnight to help the glue set correctly.

Instructions
- Begin by outing a fair amount of glue all around the bottom of the vase.
- Next, place the top of your pizza pan facing down on the of the glue. You will have a few seconds to reposition the pan to make sure it’s centered.
- Set something heavy on the top and in the middle of the pan and leave sit overnight.
Notes
The hollow portion of the vase allows for fun décor and colors to be swapped in and out for various occasions. Further, you can paint the top portion of the stand if desired or leave it silver, however you prefer.
