Can you provide more details regarding hte video values being tied to the wellness card ? You mentioned you can only use 1 vv coupon per month ? I don’t follow this … thank you.
Hi Raj,
Sorry I didn’t make it very clear in my post – I’ll try to clarify it better for the future. You can only use 1 like VV coupon per card. So, if you have a Garnier May VV coupon, you could still use it with a CoverGirl Video Value coupon (or even a Garnier April VV coupon).
In the past, you could print out more than one of the same VV coupon. However, RA is limiting it to 1 use per coupon.
thanks for clarifying … I was wondering about that example you pointed out as well (i.e. using vv coupons back to back months of the same product ), so thanks again.
it looks like the john friedas $5 off for video rewards is not there now. just a heads up.
i just realized it was probably on aprils.
Yes, unfortunately that coupon was only available in April, so unless you watched the video then, you won’t be able to print out the coupon.
I’ve always been curious with these deals-for example, rite aid does a lot where if you buy say $25 worth of a certain product you get so much off. the “$25″ still applies even if you use coupons to lower that down to almost nothing?
It sounds that way per your suggested scenario with the allure refund. I just always thought it had to be that price after savings-good to know I was wrong!
Do you know if this applies toward the $3 off $15 purchase coupons that are printed with the survey on the receipt? i always make sure my purchase totals $15 after coupons-and maybe i haven’t have to do that!
Unless it specifies otherwise (which is very rare), all the totals mentioned to get +UP Rewards are the totals BEFORE coupons (including the $3/$15 coupon). So, it’s best to get the pre-coupon total as close to the amount needed (like $25 in your example) and then use as many coupons as you can to get the final total down before +UP Rewards.
just to add on, sometimes the cashier will only take the 3/15 type coupons (i.e. x/xx) if you present it at the beginning of the purchase (or while the subtotal is still above 15 in this example). I hope that makes sense.
Yes…thanks for adding that! Your total needs to be above $15 when that coupon is applied to your total.
Q on the Rite aid Venus-Olay suggested scenario deal. I also have a coupon for $2 off any venus cartridge. can i use that coupon in addition to the 2 venus-olay coupons? And can I use RA $3 off your purchase coupon and still be eligable for the $12 refund? Thanks for all you do!
Forgot to ask too, I also have olay coupons. Can I stack those as well?
Yes, you can use the $3 survey coupon on your order, since the rebate is based on your pre-coupon total.
As far as using the Venus and Olay coupons in addition to the FREE item coupon, it’s kind of a gray area (and depends on how the coupon is coded). You can however, only use 1 manufacturer’s coupon per item, so you would not be able to use the FREE item coupon AND a Venus AND Olay coupon. You may be able to use one or the other with the free items item, depending on how the coupon attaches to the items at the register. I don’t post scenarios using both coupons normally, since although the register allows it, I believe that it’s the manufacturer’s intention for the FREE item coupon to only be allowed if you purchase both items. But, it’s up to you to decide if you want to use it
