Easter Bunny Cut-Out Cookies Recipe

A cookie sandwich made from white cake mix with pink frosting and an Easter bunny cut out of the top cookie with a cookie cutter on a plate (with other cookies surrounding and text overlay).

These Easter Bunny Cut-Out Cookies are so cute that you're friends and family will think you hired a professional to create them.

Made with white cake mix, the cookies are moist and delicious and have a nice mix of cookie and frosting with every bite!  Perfect for your Easter celebration or as a spring dessert.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  Combine the cake mix, vegetable oil, eggs and flour.  Then, roll the dough into 2" balls and place 2"-3" a part on a baking sheet. You will want to try and make an even number of cookies - tops and bottoms.

Bake for about 8 minutes.  Remove from the oven and let cool.

To make the frosting, combine the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, melted butter and milk.  Add in a few drops of pink food coloring and stir to mix.

Use the mini bunny cookie cutter to cut out a cookie.

Generously frost a second cookie, and place the cut out cookie on top of the frosted cookie.  Repeat with all cookies.
