Toy Story & Toy Story 2 Blu-Ray/DVD Deals

This Tuesday (3/23), Toy Story and Toy Story 2 will be released on Blu-Ray.  My boys LOVE this movie, and we are eagerly waiting for Toy Story 3 to hit the theaters for our first family movie date.  Here are some of the best deals on the movie:

Store Deals on Blu-Ray/DVD Combo:

  • Toys R Us: 1 or 2: $21.99 each or $16.99 each when you buy both – $6.99 each with 2 $10 coupons
  • Target: $22.99 each , plus save $10 when you buy both.  Free Target-exclusive DVD-ROM game in each – $7.99 each with 2 $10 coupons
  • Best Buy: 1 or 2: $24.99 each, plus save $10 when you buy both – $9.99 each with 2 $10 coupons
  • Walmart: $24.86 each (online price), plus save $10 when you buy both – $9.86 each with 2 $10 coupons
  • Kmart: 1 or 2: no price in the ad, plus save $10 off when you buy both
  • Meijer: 1 or 2: $21.99 each, plus get $10 off Toy Story Mania for Wii

There’s also an awesome pre-order deal that you can do at Toys R Us through Monday 3/22 only (thanks My Frugal Adventures!)

  • Preorder both Toy Story 1 and 2 using a red preorder form that you can find in-store.  You will need to pay a $5 deposit on each
  • Purchase another Disney Blu-Ray or DVD priced $19.99 or higher and receive a $15 discount for preordering both Toy Story Blu-ray combos (plus Charlene also received an additional $5 off for purchasing a Disney movie…this may or may not come off for you).  So, you could purchase a $19.99 movie and get it for $5.00 (or FREE, depending on what instant discount you get).

The deal is even better if you purchase The Princess and the Frog DVD with the $5.00 coupon.  See My Frugal Adventures for all the details!  Basically, you pay $4.99 for the Princess & the Frog DVD and $3.98 for both the Toy Story Blu-rays with all coupons and discounts.

  1. I can’t figure out how to get the $10 coupon. I can’t find a place to enter the codes from my VHS tapes.

    • I just tried it with my DVD…and they do make it difficult to find.

Login to your Disney Movie Rewards account (or create an account). Then either click on Home and you’ll see a box to Enter Code on the right hand side or put your mouse on How It Works on the top menu and choose Enter Code.

Once you’ve entered your code, you’ll see a box that you can click to print your coupon. Click it, and your coupon will automatically print (so make sure your printer is ready).

Hope that helps! Let me know if you still can’t find it.

  2. Well, I’ve found where to enter it and what to enter, but it’s not accepting my VHS codes as valid. I just joined yesterday when I saw this deal, do you think that makes a difference? I tried entering with and without dashes, still no luck. I’ll come back to this a bit later when I’ve got more brain space.

    • I don’t think it should make a difference when you joined. However, since you said dashes…I’m thinking that you might be entering the ISBN instead of the UPC. The UPC should be a 12 digit number right below the barcode.
