Just before we moved earlier this summer, I had the chance to visit the Procter & Gamble (P&G) headquarters along with 5 other bloggers. Not only did I have a lot of fun hanging out the other bloggers and P&G reps, but I also learned so much about P&G.
I flew into Cincinnati in the morning, and P&G took us to a place called The Art of Entertaining. We thought that it was just a venue to talk about P&G, but they surprised us with a hands-on cooking demo (with Bounty paper towels to clean up). And to surprise us even further, they brought in Nick Lachey to cook with and hang out with us!
After we sampled some of the scrumptious food that we had helped cook, we met with the folks from Febreze and learned more about the Febreze Car Vent Clips (which I've already reviewed). Not only did we talk about them, but we also went and sat in a car that they had loaded with smelly items like old pizza, dirty shoes, and more. We couldn't smell any of the smelly odors at all - just the car clips. Plus, I liked that the Febreze Car clips not only scent the air, but they also have technology to pull odors out of the air.
The next morning, we had a chance to visit the P&G headquarters downtown. One of my favorite parts of the trip was visiting the P&G museum, which features much of the history of P&G complete with old products. I had a chance to hang out with the founders of P&G too 🙂 (as seen below).
Our final meeting of the day was with members of the Always/Tampax team. I think that Always and Tampax products work well, but I had no idea about all the research and development that is behind these products to make sure that they work when you need them to. I was amazed at the technology in these products.
All in all, it was a great trip to the P&G headquarters, and I'm so thankful that I had the chance to learn more about some of the products that I love.
Disclosure: P&G brought myself and 5 other bloggers to the P&G Headquarters, but we were not required to blog about our trip. I just had such a good time that I wanted to.
