I loved baked goods...whether they be brownies or blondies. So delicious! You'll love this Marbled Blondies recipe with both the blondies and the marbled frosting made from scratch.
Use these step by step directions to create these Marbled Blondies for your own family and friends.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a square pan with cooking spray. Set aside. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Once butter is melted, add sugar and mix until well-combined.
In a medium-sized bowl, sift together dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Pour butter and sugar mixture into dry ingredients and mix. Add egg and vanilla into batter and mix thoroughly.
Fold in caramel chips and pour batter into coated pan.
Sprinkle the top of the batter with chocolate chips and place in oven for 3 minutes.
Once time is up, remove from oven and use a toothpick to swirl milk chocolate. Place back in the oven and bake for 22-25 minutes.
To create the frosting, use an electric mixer to beat together butter, confectioners’ sugar and honey until completely combined. Scoop half of the frosting mixture in a small bowl. Beat together the remaining half with cocoa powder until well combined. Fold both frostings together, taking care that you don’t mix them and rather, create a marbled look.
Frost the blondies with an offset spatula. Cut brownies and serve, enjoy!
