I would love to grow organic vegetables in my own backyard for both the health benefits of organic, plus the cost savings vs. purchasing the vegetables. But, I really don’t know much about gardening (ok…I don’t know anything).
However, there’s a great gardening resource – The Home Depot Garden Club. When you join the The Home Depot Garden Club you can get DIY advice on gardening, lawn care, landscaping, outdoor living projects, and even container gardening. Plus, the information is personalized to your growing region, you’ll get exclusive coupons, and you can get answers to your own outdoor question within 24 hours.
To help you get started in your own garden, Home Depot and “Cents”able Momma have teamed up to give one of my readers a $100 Home Depot gift card.
How to Enter: please enter your e-mail address in the comment form (if you can’t see the comment form, click here)
- Visit Home Depot’s Garden Club site and look through the popular gardening DIY projects. Leave a comment with the “DIY gardening project” you’d like to tackle if you won the $100 gift card. I, personally, would like to start some vegetables from seed next winter to plant in a small garden in my backyard.

- Join The Home Depot Garden Club (or let me know you’ve already joined).
- Let others know about this giveaway – either tweet the giveaway (include @centsablemomma), blog about it (leave your link), e-mail your friends (cc centsablemomma AT att DOT net) or stumble it and leave a comment letting me know you did one of these.
The contest will end on Friday, 6/19 at nooon, when I will randomly choose a winner using Random.org. The winner will have 48 hours to respond with their address for the gift card. U.S. residents only and no PO boxes allowed.
