Update: And the winner is…Travis M. I have sent the winner an e-mail, and he or she has 48 hours to respond with contact information or I’ll have to choose another winner. Thanks to everyone who entered!
As you may know, I’m a member of the Verizon Wireless Midwest Savvy Savers, and I’ve been testing out a Motorola Xyboard for the last couple of months. There are several features of the tablet that I love…but my absolute favorite was discovering how fast the Verizon 4G LTE network really is – it’s blazing compared to the normal 3G that I pick up with my iPhone.
Another feature that I also love is that I can use my tablet as a hotspot for other devices around. It’s been wonderful during our move when we’ve had periods of no internet and considering that the 4G LTE speeds are typically 5-12 Mbps, it’s the same as using my home wireless network.
The Verizon Wireless Jetpack is a great solution for those who need a wireless hotspot. It’s great for connecting multiple devices (up to 10!) and it doesn’t drain the battery as quickly as using the hotspot on a Smartphone or Tablet. Plus, the Jetpack is very portable, so it’s perfect for using in the car and it’s global-ready so you can use it in over 205 countries.
With the new Verizon Share Everything plan, it costs just $20 in monthly line access.
Verizon has offered to give one (1) lucky reader a Verizon Jetpack 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot 890L with SIM card and $150 Verizon gift card. You must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. resident to win.
1. How many devices do you think you would connect to the internet with the Jetpack? Leave a comment on this post with your answer.
3. Follow Verizon Wireless through Facebook and leave a comment on this post.
You have until Tuesday (9/25) at 11:59 pm ET to enter the giveaway. I will choose a winner at random using the “And the Winner Is…” plugin, and send the winner an e-mail. The winner will have 48 hours to respond with his/her contact information or I will have to choose another winner. After the giveaway is over, I will update the winner’s information (first name and last initial) on the top of this post.
Disclosure: I am participating in the Verizon Wireless Midwest Savvy Savers program and have been provided with a wireless device and six months of service in exchange for my honest opinions about the product. Verizon Wireless is also providing the prize for the winner.
