We love to watch movies in our family…in fact every Saturday night is unofficially Family Movie Night in our house. However, we often struggle to find movies that my husband and I think are appropriate for both us and the kids and that we all enjoy. We walk a fine line between animated movies that the adults don’t enjoy as much and live-action movies that lose our kids’ interest.
So, I was excited to be able to watch a sneak preview of the newest Family Night movie, “Field of Vision” that will premiere on Saturday, June 11th on NBC at 8pm/7ct.
This is the second Family Night movie that I’ve seen (I’m regretting that I missed the others), and I really enjoyed it once again. I love how our whole family can watch Family Night, since I don’t have to worry about any inappropriate content.
The storyline is interesting, focusing on bullying in a high school and how the star quarterback responds when he learns information about the bullying. It’s a great movie to watch with your kids and use as a conversation springboard about what they would do if they were in that situation. Plus, there are a few twists on the story, so it’s not completely predictable.
I thought the acting was excellent, and it does include football game footage to make it more appealing to all genders :-). Although I’ve already seen the movie, I plan on tuning in to watch it again on Saturday night.
You can find out more information about the movie at the official Family Movie Night “Field of Vision” website or the Facebook page.
