Hi,

Does anyone has a referral code for Viewpoint Forum? It is a survey site.

Thanks.

Have you taken surveys on all of these websites? or are these sites that you have found online? Did you find taking surveys to be worth your time and effort? Which one of the sites listed has been the most enjoyable for you?
Sorry, I know that is a lot of questions, but I do not want to waste what little time that I have on a scam website. Thanks :)

Patagonia,

I have taken surveys myself at all these websites. They also all, for the most part, offer money or points towards money as payment for the surveys, rather than just an entry to possibly win money. I don’t feel like sweepstakes entries are fair compensation for your time filling out the survey.

It really depends on your profile for how many surveys you qualify for. You’ll have to determine for yourself which survey companies are worth it for you and stick to the ones you like. None of the sites above are scam sites, though. They are all legitimate sites that I have done surveys for now and/or in the past.

My favorite sites are Pinecone Research (by far the best). Survey Savvy and Buzzback also pay out with no minimum, but you won’t get many surveys and you may not qualify for all of them. I received product trials several times from My Survey, Synovate, Valued Opinions, and Opinion Outpost, so I like those sites also.

Hope that helps!

Can you tell me about how you pay the taxes from receiving checks in the mail. I registered at mysurvey.com and I was reading that it said: Members are solely responsible for the reporting and payment of any tax liabilities incurred. Do you just pay federal taxes and if so how often do you do this and how do you do it?

You should probably speak to your tax professional. But, I usually keep track of any survey, etc. income throughout the year and then file it as Other Income on my 1040. You will pay federal taxes on the money, and it will likely flow through as part of your income for state taxes too.

Unless you’re making a lot of money, you can just file when you do your annual taxes.

Hello-

Do you have to pay taxes on money earned by receiving a gift card?

Thanks,
Kanki

Technically yes, you should declare ANY income you make on your tax return.

How when you do these survey sites, do you get around the crap ads that youdon’t want to participate in? Without being exempt for the survey’s?

For the true survey sites, I don’t usually get ads. However, the sites like MyPoints, Inbox Dollars, etc do send you stuff to try to get you to sign up. I usually just go with the slow and steady method of just clicking on the e-mails to get points without signing up for anything (unless it’s something I’m truly interested in).
