It can be so much fun to host a Halloween party. Unfortunately, it can also be expensive. The cost of decorations, party supplies, food, and entertainment can quickly add up. However, if you have a great game plan, you can stick to a budget. Whether you shop at the Dollar Tree or skip the fresh pumpkins, you can save money on a Halloween party.
1. Purchase Decorations and Party Supplies at the Dollar Tree
The Dollar Tree is one of the best places to find all the decorations and party supplies you need. You can find hanging signs, spiderwebs, candy holders, and so many other decorations. You can also find napkins, balloons, paper plates, and everything else you need for the party. You can get a LOT of stuff for your party without spending very much money.
2. Find a $5 Pizza Deal
When feeding a large crowd it's really hard to beat the price of $5 pizzas. Many pizza places now have this deal. The great thing about pizza is that you can order different toppings for everyone. And, who doesn't love pizza? You can feed a REALLY large crowd for only fifty-dollars. This is a huge savings over making something from scratch. You could also have the kids make these Mummy Pizzas as part of a craft and dinner.
3. Clip Coupons and Shop Sales for Candy
During the weeks leading up to Halloween, you can find so many coupons for candy. If you match those coupons to one of the many sales that grocery stores and drugstores will have leading up to the big day, you'll save even more money. You may even get free candy. Don't forget to use Ibotta and Checkout 51 to get rebates on items as well.
4. Skip the Fresh Pumpkin
Unless you have kids that are excited to carve a pumpkin, invest in light-up pumpkins. These last for years and years, which means you'll only need to make the investment once. You can find some awesome light-up pumpkins at the Dollar Tree. They're small, but great for buffet tables.
5. Watch Movies on Netflix or Amazon Prime Video
Last, but not least, let Netflix keep your guests entertained. There are so many great movies to choose from. If you already have Amazon Prime, you can watch movies for free. Both services add tons of Halloween movies around the holiday.
You don't have to spend a lot of money to have a great Halloween party. In fact, you can throw an AWESOME party for a large group for less than a hundred-dollars.
