
There are several free kids activities this weekend:
- Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinic: on Saturday (9/22), from 10 – 11 am, visit Lowe’s to build a free Fire Truck. The workshops are geared for children from about 1st-5th grade, and parents need to remain with their child. The first 50 kids to sign up get a kit, work apron, and safety goggles for free. You should register for the workshop to ensure you will receive a kit.
- Lakeshore Learning Store: on Saturday (9/22), from 11 am – 3 pm, visit Lakeshore Learning Center to create a free Autumn Tree Collage.
- Michaels: visit Michaels on Saturday (9/22) between 1 and 2 pm for a Stamping Gear Demo (adults only) and from 1 to 3 pm for a Wilton Halloween Treats Demo. Then visit on Sunday(9/23) from 1 pm to 2 pm for a Embossing Demo (adults only).
- AC Moore: visit Saturday (9/22) between 1 and 3 pm for a Breast Cancer Awareness Pins Make & Take.
- Archiver’s: beginning (10/4) make a free Treat Box using the Martha Stewart Scoring Board.
- Disney Store: visit the Disney Store on Saturday (9/22) between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm for a Jake and the Never Land Pirates Jake Saves Bucky Great Never Sea Race Event.
- Babies R Us: visit Babies R Us on Saturday (9/22) from 12 pm to 3 pm for the Babies R Us Expo.
- Pottery Barn Kids: visit Saturday (9/22) at 10 am for a Where the Wild Things Are Storytime.
- Target: Check for FREE museum events in a city near you
- Walmart: there are several in-store events this weekend. Check your local store for hours and participation
