Free Kids Activities This Weekend – 6/9/12

There are several free kids activities this weekend:

  • Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinic: on Saturday (6/9), from 10 – 11 am, visit Lowe’s to build a free Monkey Powered Plane from Madagascar 3. The workshops are geared for children from about 1st-5th grade, and parents need to remain with their child. The first 50 kids to sign up get a kit, work apron, and safety goggles for free. You should register for the workshop to ensure you will receive a kit.
  • Lakeshore Learning Store: on Saturday (6/9), from 11 am – 3 pm, visit Lakeshore Learning Center to create a free Flip-Flop Notepad.
  • Michaels: visit Michaels on Saturday (6/9) between 10 am and 12 pm for a Father’s Day Frame Make-It Take-It (with purchase of a frame).  Plus, there will be a Scrapbook/Shadow Box/Demo from 1 to 2 pm. Visit Sunday (6/10) between 1 and 2 pm for a free Father’s Day Keychain Make-It Take-It and from 3 to 4 pm for a Cricut Expression 2 Demo.
  • AC Moore: visit Saturday (6/9) between 1 and 3 pm for a Martha Stewart Crafts Craft Clay & Punch Around the Page Demonstration.
  • Babies R Us: visit Babies R Us on Saturday (6/9) between 12 and 3 pm for a free Breast to Bottle Feeding Event.
  • Pottery Barn Kids: visit (6/9) at 10 am for a National Geographic Little Explorers World Oceans Day Celebration.  Receive an explorer badge and a Dr Seuss Book while supplies last.
  • National Parks: Visit your local national park on Saturday (6/9) for the FREE Get Outdoors Day.
