Free Kids Activities This Weekend – 6/23/12

There are several free kids activities this weekend:

• Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinic: on Saturday (6/23), from 10 – 11 am or on Sunday (6/24) at 2 pm visit Lowe’s to build a free Madagascar 3 Luxury Assault Vehicle. The workshops are geared for children from about 1st-5th grade, and parents need to remain with their child. The first 50 kids to sign up get a kit, work apron, and safety goggles for free. You should register for the workshop to ensure you will receive a kit.

• Lakeshore Learning Store: on Saturday (6/23), from 11 am – 3 pm, visit Lakeshore Learning Center to create a free Summertime Door Hanger.

• Michaels: visit Michaels on Saturday (6/23) between 1 pm and 4 pm for Passport to Imagination Poland or on Tuesday (6/26) from 1 pm to 4 pm for Passport to Imagination China.  Plus there are 2 adult-only events this week, including a  Bee Landing Demo from noon to 1 pm on Saturday and a Mod Podge Make-It Take-It on Sunday from noon to 3 pm.

• AC Moore: visit Saturday (6/23) between 1 and 3 pm for a Wilton Fondant Fun Demo.  Then visit on Wednesday  (6/27) between 1 pm to 3 pm for Buy & Decorate Summer Fun event.

• Barnes & Noble: There are several LEGO Building Events going on right now.  Enter your zip code or city and state to find the events in your local store(s).

• Disney Store: visit the Disney Store on Saturday (6/23) between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm and celebrate the upcoming release of Brave, in theaters June 22.

• Bass Pro:  visit Bass Pro now  through (7/15) for Family Summer Camp.  Enjoy free activities, crafts, workshops and a free photo.

• Target: Check for FREE museum events in a city near you

• Walmart:  there are several in-store events this weekend. Check your local store for hours and participation
