Curious George at the Zoo: FREE App + Curious George Prize Pack Giveaway ($100+ Value)

We love Curious George at our house. I grew up reading some of the stories, and I bought a big book of all the classic Curious George stories when my oldest son was 2. It’s a good thing that book is hardcover with really good binding, because we have read that book countless times over the years!

Recently, I was able to download the Curious George at the Zoo app for FREE (and it’s still FREE to download through 5/1 – for iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad).

My boys, of course, noticed right away that I had downloaded the Curious George app and started playing.  They had lots of fun waking up the animals, taking care of them, playing mini games, and watching short videos about the animals – all designed to promote learning for 3-5 year olds.

You can find out more details and download the free app or you can watch a quick video that introduces the app.  Initially, just the Sunny Safari section is open, but 3 additional sections will be released soon.

I loved Curios George growing up, we didnt own many books but I loved the TV show. And now my kids can still watch it on TV. They think he is pretty funny, but now that I am a mom watching his antics makes me a little nervous! :)

I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old and both of my children LOVE Curious George. We read books about him, watch him on dvd’s, play games with him on pbskids. George is definitely a highlight in our house. (and yes, I read about him as a child myself which makes it even more fun to read the stories again with my own children.)

I read Curious George as a child. My 8 year old daughter read them. My first grade students are always bringing me Curious George books to school to read, we love them. When we get the chance I’ll put on Curious George for my 1 year old who loves animals.
