French Toast School Uniforms: Review and Giveaway

Update: And the winner is…Reba C.

My 7 year old has to wear a uniform to school. While there are many benefits to school uniforms, one of the disadvantages can be cost. So, I was interested when French Toast approached me and asked me to review their uniforms.

I thought the prices were really reasonable on their site, especially compared to the other brand of uniforms that we are encouraged to purchase.  If your school has a uniform policy, you can even look up the approved items by school on the French Toast website.

I received a Long Sleeve Interlock Polo, Double Knee Pants, and a Stitched Dress Belt.  Although a belt is not a required item quite yet for my son, I guess I should have bought one earlier, since he loves wearing it.  It’s well made and very nice looking.  I was also excited to see the khaki double knee pants, since my son is VERY rough on the knees of his pants.  I buy double knee jeans, but I hadn’t seen them in khakis before.  When we first received the pants, they seemed very stiff, but they became softer after just one washing.  The shirt, though, is very soft…I wish some of my shirts were that soft, and it looks great.

Plus, now through 1/16/11, you can get 50% off one item at French Toast when you use coupon code  QEKA50.   Also, save 15% off polos right now, and check out the clearance section for even more deals.

I think the bboys piques polos look good. Also the cardigans with V-neck.

I would purchase the double knee pant for my son. That always seems to be the reason I have to get rid of a pair of pants.

I definitely would get some white polo shirts and some navy pants. My son’s uniforms are just too little for him. Poor guy! He’s growing so fast!
