Free Kids Activities This Weekend – 8/28

There are several free kids activities this weekend:

• Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinic: on Saturday (8/28), from 10 – 11 am, visit Lowe’s to build a free Schoolbus . The workshops are geared for children from about 1st-5th grade, and parents need to remain with their child. The first 50 kids to sign up get a kit, work apron, and safety goggles for free. You should register for the workshop to ensure you will receive a kit.

• Lakeshore Learning Store: on Saturday (8/28), from 11 am – 3 pm, visit Lakeshore Learning Center to create a free Royal Crown.

• Toys R Us:  visit Toys R Us on Saturday (8/28) from noon to 2 pm for a Bakugan Battle League.  Be a part of the Bakugan Battle League event, where how you play changes the story.  Toys R Us plans on holding the Bakugan Battle League events once a month through November.  Check this list for participating stores.

• Borders: Visit your local Borders store for a Hunger Games Fan Fest on Saturday (8/28) at 4 pm.  They have giveaways and more planned.

• Michaels: visit Michaels on Saturday (8/28) between 10 am and 2 pm for a Grandparents Day FREE Family Event.  Plus, there is a FREE Teacher Appreciation Event on Friday (8/27) from 3 pm – 8:45 pm, and

• Target: Check for FREE museum events in a city near you
