Costco Sunny Days Prize Pack Giveaway + $25 Costco Gift Card

During the summer months, my kids and I are always on the go. We love to do various activities around town – from strawberry picking to hitting the local sprayscape to going camping as a family. Rather than picking up a snack from the fast food window, it’s nice to have healthy snacks that I can bring along with us.

I was recently given the opportunity to try the stock-up size Nature Valley Chewy Trail Mix Bars and Simply Fruit Roll-Ups.

Nature Valley Chewy Trail Mix Bars - Although I’m not a huge fan of raisin and cranberry, the Trail Mix Bars had a nice combination of nuts and fruit.  The amount of fruit gave it just the right sweet taste.  The bars have 140 calories and 4g of fat (0.5g of which is saturated fat).  It also includes 8g of whole grains, 2g of fiber, and 13g of sugar.  Plus, with no chocolate, there is nothing to melt if you leave it in a hot car :-) .

Simply Fruit Roll-Ups - In the past, I very rarely gave my children fruit-roll ups, because they seemed like they were basically candy.  However, the new Simply Fruit Roll-Ups are gluten-free and contain 90% real fruit and fruit juice and includes a full serving of fruit.  They come in Strawberry and Wildberry flavors, and both my kids and myself thought they were yummy.  Each roll-up has 50 calories, 0g fat and 10g of sugar.  I definitely feel better about giving the new Simply Fruit roll-ups to my kids in moderation.

Giveaway

General Mills through MyBlogSpark has offered to give a Costco Sunny Days Prize Pack to one of my readers.  The prize pack includes a $25 Costco gift card, and a stock-up size Simply Fruit Roll-Ups and Nature Valley Chewy Trail Mix Bars.  You must be a U.S. resident to win and the prize cannot be shipped to a PO Box.

To Enter the Giveaway (mandatory):

  • Leave a comment with your favorite healthy snack that you plan to purchase during your next Costco visit.

Bonus Entries:

You have until Tuesday (6/22) at 11:59 pm to enter the giveaway. I will choose a winner at random using Random.org. I will send the winner an e-mail. The winner will have 48 hours to respond with his/her contact information.

Disclosure: General Mills provided me with the free product, information, and gift cards through MyBlogSpark. I did not receive any compensation to write this post.  The opinions are all mine!
