What are Lightning Deals? They are limited-time promotions in which a limited number of discounts are offered on a single item for a short period of time.

Last Nov/Dec Amazon had MANY awesome Lightning Deals…I was able to pick up much of my Christmas shopping then.  Depending on the item, the deal may sell out quickly.  Usually Amazon will give hints about what the item is before they go on sale.
