Exxon/Mobil Speedpass: FREE $20 Gift Card for Signup

by Corrie @ "Cents"able Momma on April 9, 2010

If you currently get gas at an Exxon/Mobil gas station (or live near one that has decent gas prices), here’s a great deal for gas.

When you get and activate a new Speedpass, you’ll get a $20 ExxonMobil Gift Card when you use promo code UPM10. Offer expires May 5th, 2010.

How Does the Speedpass Work?

  • It’s free to sign up (make sure you use promo code UPM10
  • You’ll receive your Speedpass in 5-7 days
  • Activate your Speedpass online and link any credit or debit card.  However, if you also link your credit or debit card to your Upromise account, you’ll earn $0.01/gallon when you purchase over 20 gallons at Exxon/Mobil during a calendar month (and if you have the Upromise credit card, you will also earn and additional 3% in college savings).

Thanks FW!

Hello – I just signed up but how do you get the $20 credit? Does it come with the unit or in a gift card? The website doesn’t indicate.

Thanks!
Gina

I think it comes separately, since you have to activate the SpeedPass after you receive it in the mail.

I got the Speedpass but no giftcard yet. Anyone else get the card?

No, just the device. Maybe we should active it first?

I think you do need to activate it first.

yeah, I did activate it. I just assumed there would be a $20 credit connected to the account some way, but maybe they will send a card later? If anyone finds out or receives it, let’s post that info here. thanks, guys.
