New Upromise eCoupons for March

by Corrie @ "Cents"able Momma on March 1, 2010

UPromise Each month, Upromise releases new Ecoupons that you can load onto your account. When you make a qualifying purchase, the amount of the coupon will automatically be added to your UPromise account, plus a small percentage of the purchase price.  Some of the stores where the eCoupons are valid include: CVS, Meijer, and Kroger.

I don’t usually go out of my way to purchase these items necessarily, but if I can match a good sale with the eCoupon, it’s a great deal. Plus, since the CVS Extra Care card is one of the loyalty cards that the eCoupons will load onto, you can often combine the eCoupon with an ECB’s deal. However, last month, I was able to save an additional $0.50 on Red Gold tomatoes when I purchased them at Meijer. You can use a coupon and a Upromise eCoupon together.

What is UPromise? It’s basically a free site where you can earn money for college (yours, your kids, or to help pay off student loans) just by signing up and then linking your credit credit cards and loyalty cards to your account. You can earn money in MANY different ways, such as purchasing qualifying food and household items, getting gas at Exxon/Mobil stations, making online purchases through their site, getting a Upromise credit card, registering your McDonalds Arch card, and many more ways.  We have saved over $1800 towards our sons college through Upromise to date.

Anyway, Upromise has updated the ecoupons for March, so you will want to log in to your account (or join, then link up your loyalty cards) and load the coupons. For instructions on how to load the ecoupons, click here.

Here are some of the available coupons (the coupon amount will be added to your Upromise college savings account):

Can you use a munufacturer’s coupon in the store along with the one on the card? Not sure how this works.

Hi Lisa,

Yes, you can use a manufacturer’s coupon at the store as well as the Upromise eCoupon. Upromise eCoupons are the only eCoupons where you are allowed to use both paper and electronic coupons.

You will not see the savings for the Upromise eCoupon on your order. Instead, you will see the coupon amount added to your Upromise (college savings) balance several days after you use the coupon.

I use my Upromise account to save for my boys college in the future (the money is tranferred to a 529 account), but you can also use it to pay down existing student loan balances. It’s a great program where you can earn FREE college money.

Hope that helps! Please leave additional comments or e-mail me if you have any more questions :-) .
