My favorite memory would have to be my memory of my adult experience with Christmas w/ my kids. I love Christmas, snow, the lights, songs, constant movies, everything- But since being a Mom, my favorite memory has been each and every year seeing Christmas through my kids eyes. As a child Christmas is Magic. We wholey believe inGod & the reason the Holiday is celebrated but I believe all kids should believe in magic and I do things through the Holiday season so my kids believe in the “magic” of the season. The spirit of Christmas, watching people being more cordial than usual, the glow on faces as you do something unexpected to surprise them. I watch my kids and see that amazement in their eyes when we go see decorated houses, when we go to visit Santa, when we get a few flurries for the first time of the year. It is so beautiful to watch their faces. My favorite memories are of baking with my kids. My youngest son w/ flour on his face and “goop” on his hands and then everyone having a cookie or piece of pie and telling him what a good job he did. The smell in the house when we bake and the kids all running around giggling just out of excitement of what’s to come.
This giveaway is one of them… LOL Thx for sharing

My favorite Christmas tradition has always been midnight mass at my church. Dad would always take my brother and me – its something I look forward to each year. And singing the carols

We always bake Christmas cookies the day before we decorate our tree. Usually five or six different kinds. We bag and box over half of the cookies me make. The next day we decorate our tree and then test the cookies. After the decorating and the cookie eating is over we deliver the cookies we bagged and boxed to neighbors and friends. We have done this for years and my children and now grandchildren look forward to this tradition.

My favorite part of Christmas is just being able to participate and enjoy it again. Due to some health issues, I lost this for several years, but was able to enjoy the holidays again this year. This is the greatest gift I could ever receive!
