CVS $5 Challenge – week of 12/20

This post may contain affiliate links. Read my disclosure policy here.

The goal of this CVS challenge is to come up with up to 3 scenarios where the total spent out of pocket is $5, while still growing your ECB’s. I’m going to assume that you start out with zero ECB’s to start with, or it makes it too difficult for others to follow. If you do have ECB’s to start, you can reduce your OOP to almost zero.

For more information on the abbreviations used in this post, please see my Coupons 101 article. For more information about shopping at CVS, visit my CVS 101 article.  For additional scenarios, please visit Keeping the Kingdom First and Deal Seeking Mom.

On transaction #2 how did you use a revlon cosmetic coupon?

Deb,

You wouldn’t use a Revlon coupon for transaction #2…I mixed up the Revlon and Crest coupon (but the math was still correct for the transaction since it came from my spreadsheet). I have correct it now.

Thanks for pointing out my error!
