866529 26072537 Survey Summary OctoberI thought that I would keep track of the surveys that I’ve done this month to help you get an idea of what to expect when you join a survey company.

I was VERY busy this month with my blog, so I did not do many surveys at all…but here’s what I did do. You can still earn money, even when you spend very little time doing them.

I have been a member of each of the companies listed for at least 6 months, and I only join survey companies where I earn money or points that can convert to money or gift cards. I don’t feel like it’s worth my time just to get an entry in a drawing.

For the surveys attempted, but not qualified for, it usually only took a minute or so to find out I was not qualified. As you can see, I get more surveys from some companies than others.

Total Earned: $20.50

Pinecone Research – $6.00

  • 2 surveys attempted
  • Qualified for 2
  • Paid $3.00 for every survey – paid by Paypal a few days after you take the survey

Opinion Outpost - $6.00

  • 2 surveys attempted
  • Qualified for 2
  • Paid in points – 10 points = $1 – can cash out when you reach $5 balance

My Survey – $5.50 (or 550 points)

  • 6 surveys attempted – the nice thing is you get 10 points for every attempted survey
  • Qualified for 1
  • Paid in points – 1000 points = $10 – can cash out when you reach 1000 point balance

Survey Savvy – $2.00

  • 2 surveys attempted
  • Qualified for 1
  • Paid in $ (via check) with no balance required for cashout. I don’t get a lot of surveys from them, but they pay well and I can get my money fairly quickly.

HCD Surveys- $0.50 – these are usually pretty fun surveys to do…and not too long

  • 1 surveys attempted
  • Qualified for 1
  • Paid $ by check once you reach the 1000 point ($10) threshhold

Erewards – $0.24 in Upromise earnings

  • 2 surveys attempted
  • Qualified for 0
  • Paid in $ that you can use to cash in for Upromise (college) savings. Get $2.00 in Upromise earnings just for signing up for Erewards. I earned $50 in Upromise earnings earlier this year through Erewards. To join Erewards through Upromise, click on Ways to Earn, More, and then Erewards.

My Points – $0.21 from surveys alone…I earned more points from clicking through on e-mails

  • 3 surveys attempted
  • Qualified for 0
  • Paid in points – if you don’t qualify for the survey, you get 10 points added to your account. I find this is a really easy way to add up my points (besides just clicking through on e-mails. 1400 points = $10 Panera gift card (but there are MANY more options)

Synovate – Global Opinion Panels – $0.05

  • 2 surveys attempted – the nice thing is you now get 50 points for every attempted survey
  • Qualified for 0
  • Paid in points – 5000 points = $5 – can cash out when you reach 5000 point balance

Valued Opinions – $0.00

  • 5 surveys attempted
  • Qualified for 0
  • Paid in Amazon gift cards (or $20 prepaid Visa) when you reach $20 balance

Buzzback Panel – $0.00

  • 2 survey attempted
  • Qualified for 0
  • Paid $ by Paypal several days later (you are paid automatically after every survey)

Other Survey Sites that I like…that I didn’t get around to doing this month:

Lightspeed Survey – Paid in points – 575 points = $5 – can cash out when you reach 575 point balance – paid via Paypal

Your 2 Cents (Toluna) - Paid $ by check when you reach $10 (30,000 points) balance

Survey Head – Paid $ by Paypal or with gift cards when you reach $25 minimum

  • Get $5 bonus when you register
