I donate my leftover pumpkins to the ranch I volunteer at. They rescue farm animals who get very excited when I bring them pumpkins. If you live near any type of farm or ranch you might want to consider this too? Since I always get more pumpkins then I could eat anyway. Great idea! (that is how we got all of our many squash this year from scavanged squash seeds last year. talk about saving money we made hundereds of lb of squash from a mere handfull of saved seed.
