ING Direct is offering a $121 account bonus if you open a new ING Electric Orange checking account (this was a Black Friday deal, but it’s been extended…not sure how long).

Here’s how:

1. Open an Electric Orange checking with Reference Code EOSAVE.
2. Use your Debit Card to make 3 signature transactions within the first 45 days.
3. On day 50, ING Direct will put $121 in your account.

Please note: there are reports that ING Direct does a hard pull (similar to when you are applying for a credit card) on your credit (possibly because of overdraft protection), so you have to consider whether it is worth the $121.
