Usually a survey will state up front how long the survey is expected to last. I keep a spreadsheet with how much points equals how much money so I can determine up front if it's worth it. I don't want to do a half hour survey for $0.50, for example. Maybe one month I'll try to keep track of the time. However, I just fit the surveys in whenever I have a few minutes here and there. How much per hour does that $19 break down too. I used to do Pinecone Research back when they paid $5 a survey but the surveys kept getting longer and the amount they paid dropped so it just wasn't worth it anymore.
