Upromise.com College Dream Sweepstakes

If you’ve never signed up for UPromise, now’s a great time to join! Domino Sugar is offering a $5.00 sign-up bonus when you enter the code DOMINO5 in the “Tell Us More” section at the bottom of the registration page.

Don’t know what UPromise is?

It’s basically a free site where you can earn money for college (yours, your kids, or to help pay off student loans) just by signing up and then linking your credit credit cards and loyalty cards (like CVS, Kroger, Meijer) to your account. You can earn money in MANY different ways, such as purchasing qualifying food and household items, getting gas at Exxon/Mobil stations, making online purchases through their site, getting a Upromise credit card, registering your McDonalds Arch card, and many more ways.

My family has earned almost $1,700 in college earnings through UPromise, since I joined the program in 2001. Each quarter any new earnings I receive are transferred to my Upromise 529 plan, and I earn interest tax-free until my boys go to college. If I had student loans, we could even use the money to help pay them off.

Thanks Freebies 4 Mom for the heads up on the code!

I signed up a few days ago w/ Upromise and used the code DOMINO5 for the extra $5, but I have not received it to my account. Not sure why.

I'm not familiar with how long it takes for the initial contributions to post (and I couldn't find the information on their site), but when you purchase an item at a grocery store, for example, using your loyalty card, it takes several days for the transaction to post as pending. If you don't see it in a week or two, I'd send an e-mail to Upromise through the support/Help section.

I hope that helps!
