Kmart has a new program in MI to assist their unemployed customers. If you are a MI resident (with a MI state-issued ID) and have enrollment confirmation for MI unemployment benefits, you are eligible to receive a smartAssist savings card at Kmart good for up to 6 months.
With the card, you will get a 20% discount on over 1,000 regular-priced grocery and drugstore Kmart own-brand merchandise for up to six months. If you regularly use coupons to get items for free or almost free, you could use this program to purchase items where there are rarely coupons.
