Toy Clearance at Toys R Us – starts 6/26

As I’ve stated before, I like to purchase birthday and Christmas presents throughout the year when the items are on sale/clearance in order to get the most gift for the money.

Last year I stumbled upon the Toys R Us clearance sale by accident, since my son has a July birthday, and I was there with my mom to help her pick out her gift. I purchased several items for my nieces and nephews for Christmas as well as a few birthday gifts. One gift was a cute little Cabbage Patch doll with a playset that was such a good deal that the customer behind me marveled at the deal.

However, this year Toys R Us was kind enough to e-mail me to let me know that the summer toy clearance is running from 6/26 – 7/18. The clearance items will already be marked down up to 70% off, plus you get an additional 20% off. This year, they should have Red Hot Bonus Day signs leading you to the clearanced items, but I usually just check for red stickers in the aisles and on endcaps.
