CVS+Trip+022209 CVS Trip This Week 2/22I was driving home from a mystery shop last night, and I called my husband to see how he was doing (since he wasn’t feeling well). He requested some Pepto Bismol, and I just happened to be at an intersection with a CVS that I don’t normally shop. So, I ran in to get him his medicine. It was going to kill me to pay full price for it, but luckily, I had my deals print-out and my coupons with me, so I could try to work the deals and bring down the price. I had so much that I was really hoping for a $5/$30 purchase coupon from the “magic coupon machine”, but I did get a $3 off 2 hair care products, so I went back and got the V05 shampoo. I see you have a Star Wars fan in your house too. I grabbed a box of Star Wars valentines for Aaron at Target. I ended up buying meds for one of the boys with no coupon or sale this week too, but thankfully I had extra bucks to cover it. I do feel like I lost the game when I leave with less extra bucks then I came with though…so silly.

I don’t see the Pepto Bismol you hubby needed in your transactions. I was just wondering if you ended up paying full price. You did great!

Thanks, Anonymous!

I purchased the Pepto Bismol in the 2nd transaction. Although I didn’t have any coupons and it wasn’t on sale, I managed to combine it with ECB’s and coupons for other items, so it didn’t come out too bad for me.

Yeah I had to buy shoe goo this week but I figure that is the reason we play this game to get all our stuff we need super cheap. I ended up getting nearly $80 worth of stuff for $2.72 but I burned through all my ecbs, and gift cards.
